Google should be the number one source of search engine traffic for most sites. If Google isn't one or your top referring search engines then there may be something preventing your site from being indexed.

Find out how many pages of your site are listed in Google by entering site:www.yourwebsite.com in the search field and then clicking the search button.

Google will then show you all your pages it has indexed. If you have 100 pages on your site and Google is only listing 50 you have some work to do.

Example: How many StoreFrontGoodies.com pages are listed in Google? Click this link to see the results: http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.storefrontgoodies.com&num=50&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&output=search

At this time there is 124 pages. To see all the pages you need to click on the repeat the search with the omitted results included link at the bottom.

Tip: make sure to search Google without the "www" as well. Example: "site:storefrontgoodies.com" . When I search for this Google shows I have 142 pages listed.
