	SignIn Control - Server License The SignIn Control is a custom user control that helps your customers sign-in or sign-out from any StoreFront page.

The SignIn Control alternately displays either a compact sign-in form or sign-out form with a customer welcome message. The SignIn Control can be used on any StoreFront page or control including the top banner. To sign-in, you enter your email address and password then press the sign-in link. If the information is valid, you are signed-in and remain on your current page. The control will then display a welcome message and sign-out link similar to the message and link used on Amazon.com.

Features

You can add the SignIn Control to any StoreFront Page or control including the Top Banner or Top Sub Banner. The SignInControl3 sample is especially well suited for the sub banner.
The SignIn Control will hide itself whenever it appears outside a form. This means it will automatically adapt to the standard order confirmation page which uses an unusual form configuration.
Sign in or out without leaving the current page. After the SignIn Control signs the customer in or out, the current page is refreshed so that the StoreFront menus are redrawn with the correct links.
Customize the control to match your site. The SignIn Control is very easy to change so that it matches the appearance of your store. Three samples are included in the package. All three samples were designed to be visually similar in Internet Explorer, FireFox (Mozilla), and Opera.
Use CSS styles without changing Styles.css or editing every page to add a second stylesheet. The SignIn Control will automatically add it's own stylesheet to the page using techniques that work in all the major browsers.
Customize the welcome message. The welcome message and sign-out link are created from simple templates like "Welcome [CustFirstName]". The samples show how easy it is to create a custom welcome message and the documentation lists all of the substitutions you can use.
Special validation controls were created to validate the username and password only when the sign-in link is used. You are welcome to use these controls on any of your own "sub-forms".

The SignIn Control is easy to customize to match the look and feel of your site. Trial Version

A free trial version of SignIn is available for download so you can try it yourself. The trial version is identical to the licensed version with the addition of a banner that is displayed at the bottom of the page. Download the trial version

Licensing

The SignIn Control is licensed for use by a single web site or by server. The server license allows you to use the control in an unlimited number of stores on one server.

The single web site license is enforced by a license file that you will download from us and add to your store. The license file is generated using the web site address you enter for "Licensed Web Site" when you place your order. Please be sure it is accurate before you place your order. This license is not transferable since there is no way to "turn-off" the first license. If the license file is missing or inaccurate, the control will run in trial mode which means that a banner will be displayed at the bottom of the web page. Enter the secure web site address if it is in a different domain than the licensed web site.

The server license is not enforced with a license file. You may copy the software to each store on the server. This may also be an attractive option for single sites wishing to avoid licensing software.
