When customers enter coupons and gift certificates, they may experience problems where the code entered will not be accepted. This is due to several reasons. When a customer copies a code from an HTML e-mail for example, they often may pickup a trailing space. When entering the desired code at checkout by pasting the copied code, the trailing space will not trigger a match with StoreFront and therefore will not be accepted. Additionally, if the customer manually types in the code and it is not exactly the same case as the merchant assigned code, it again will not trigger a match and the customer will not be credited with the coupon or gift certificate assigned value. This modification corrects this issue.
