Occasionally, the StoreFront 5.0 or StoreFront 2000 toolbars may disappear from FrontPage. This is a quirk of the Office toolbar, and there should be no need to reinstall to get the toolbar back. To get the toolbars back:
In Frontpage, go to the Tools menu and select Addins. If StoreFront2000 or StoreFront50 is listed as an addin, ensure that it is checked, then click ok. The toolbar should load. If the toolbar still does not load, or if it was never listed as an addin in the first place, go to Tools, Addins and select Add Addin. For StoreFront 2000, browse to the StoreFront.tem folder on the hard drive( this path is usually C:\program files\microsoft office\templates\1033\webs\storefront.tem) and select the StoreFront.dll. Click OK.
For StoreFront 5.0, repeat the steps listed above. However, browse to C:\program files\microsoft office\templates\1033\webs\storefront50.tem and select the StoreFront50.dll.
StoreFront 2000 or StoreFront 5.0 should now be listed as an available addin; OK out of the Addins menu and the toolbar should load. If the toolbar still does not load, Ctrl+Alt+Del and End Task on all instances of FrontPage that are running and restart the application.
If, after following the above steps, the toolbar doesn’t load, then go to the Start menu and select Find, then Files or Folders. Search the entire hard drive for a file called cmdui.prf. You should see the file in a folder at ../application data/microsoft/frontpage/state/directory. If this file is present, delete it (make sure FrontPage is closed before you do this) then restart Front Page.
If the toolbar still does not load, try rebooting.
