quikSlip is a powerful utility for printing packing slips, invoices, viewing sales summaries, and managing shipments in StoreFront 6. Using a high-performance filter system and well designed layout, quikSlip is easy to locate orders of interest and immediately render them to a high-quality PDF printable document. Using the Adobe Acrobat Reader tightly integrated into Internet Explorer, quikSlip makes printing invoices or packing slips a breeze with professional merchant quality output. Use Adobe Acrobat's extensive printing and e-mail capabilities to do as you desire after the output has been generated such as printing multiple copies, e-mailing shipment tracking information to the customer, etc. Shipment handling is all handled in one step by filtering the orders to handle, enter the tracking number, shipment carrier, then save and print the invoice or packing slips in one batch! Instantly quikSlip saves the shipment information, marks the order as shipped, and presents the invoices or packing slips for all selected orders.
quikSlip allows selection of desired orders to be printed and can be printed as a batch with the single click of your mouse. Invoices are customized with your business logo and contact information extracted from custom configuration data placed in the web.config. Security is user configurable either by changing the name of Default.aspx to a custom page name such as Default1.aspx so others won't know the default, or higher security via permissions such as removing anonymous access to Default.aspx triggering a login dialog. (quikSlip does not access or display credit card information or sensitive data, only order data such as address and product information.)
Deployment is simple by importing necessary files to your file server according to the installation instructions. quikSlip requires zero web host modification/installation, all that is required is to import the required files then immediately access the quikSlip main interface by going to your site's /quikSlip/Default.aspx web page. quikSlip is completely contained inside your web site and does not require the use of any software on your local machine to connect to your store. This tightly integrated system allows for simple and affordable licensing and easily used by staff at any shipping location.
quikSlip has no dependencies on StoreFront therefore is not affected by StoreFront versions or updates. quikSlip can be installed to ANY asp.net web site and function by reading your store's database with the defined connection string.
